Empowering your team to take charge of their mental health

Most responsible companies take a proactive approach to helping their staff manage their mental health with practical and training initiatives aimed at helping them to recognise vital signs in their colleagues and providing advice on what they can do to support them and themselves.

While this is a very positive, and relatively recent, move, Food etc can help companies be even more proactive by delivering our Mood Food course, a programme designed to explore the key impact of nutrition on mental health. The aim is to empower people with the skills and knowledge to make better food choices that will increase their chances of stabilising their mental health.

Mood Food is a unique combination of theoretical and practical food- based learning and experience where participants bond over shared experiences, creating a supportive environment where stories, problems, and triumphs are openly exchanged.

Course participants also prepare and eat together simple, budget friendly and healthy recipes that require minimal equipment, are easy to follow and require no advanced culinary skills, making it accessible to all.

The course ends with eating together, enjoying the food they have prepared as well as providing a platform for feedback exchange and further strengthening bonds among participants that continue beyond the Mood Food experience.

Course duration: 3 hours
