LMC is serving up more than just client success

LMC, a multi-award-winning consultancy, is known for delivering strategic PR, digital marketing, content, and communications expertise to purpose-driven organisations in property, architecture, engineering, and construction. The company’s success goes beyond its work for clients. It’s also built on a culture of inclusivity, collaboration, and genuine care for the wellbeing of its team.

As part of its commitment to nurturing both professional and personal growth, LMC regularly steps away from day-to-day business to create space for reflection, learning, and team connection. So, when Managing Director Liz Male discovered Food etc’s Mood Food workshops, she immediately saw the opportunity to do something refreshingly different.

Liz explained:

“We’ve organised many activity and knowledge-sharing days, but Mood Food offered something unique. It blends wellness, team building, and practical life skills in a way that’s both engaging and memorable – and it all ends with the joy of sharing a great meal together. What could be better?”

The Mood Food programme explores how nutrition directly impacts mental health, equipping people with the knowledge and practical tools to make simple, positive changes. Participants not only learn but also experience the benefits first-hand – cooking and sharing budget-friendly, nutritious recipes together. No special skills are required, making it accessible, inclusive, and empowering for everyone involved.

Associate Director Dan Gerrella added:

“We loved the chance to prepare, cook, and eat together as a team. It was a new way of working together, and the simplicity and speed of creating something both delicious and nourishing was eye-opening. There was some nice inter-team rivalry too! It reminded us that with the right approach, healthy habits are easy to build – a lesson that resonates with how we work with our clients too.”

By embracing innovative wellbeing initiatives like Mood Food, LMC demonstrates that investing in people is not just about professional development – it’s about creating shared experiences that strengthen culture, build resilience, and spark inspiration both inside and outside the workplace.
