Easy savoury flan

Serves 2 (or more depending on how old and how hungry you are)

  • 1 brown wrap
  • 4 eggs
  • 4 cherry tomatoes
  • 1 mushroom
  • Handful of grated cheese
  • Salt and pepper
  • Herbs (optional)

 

  1. Heat oven to 180˚C or 350˚F or gas mark 4
  2. Put a tiny drop of oil into a round cake tin and put the wrap in it to make a shallow dish
  3. Break the eggs into a bowl and whisk them
  4. Cut the tomatoes in half and slice the mushrooms thinly. You can use different veg if you prefer eg peppers or sweetcorn
  5. Pour the eggs on top and drop the vegetables around
  6. Sprinkle the cheese over the top with a little salt and pepper and some herbs if you’d like to
  7. Bake in the oven for 10 to 15 minutes depending how you like your eggs. We suggest you check after 10 minutes and give it a little shake to see how wobbly it is!
  8. Cut into slices and serve on plates
